📝 State Requirements: To earn your CWP, you’ll need to pass a state-mandated shooting qualification and written test—but don’t stress! We’ll give you everything you need to feel prepared and confident.

But if you’d like a little extra practice before jumping in, we also offer a Basic Pistol Class to help you build confidence and get comfortable with the fundamentals. Either way, we’ve got you covered!

Basic Pistol

New to shooting? Curious but not sure where to start or just want to sharpen your skills? This one-hour class is perfect for beginners looking to build confidence and improve accuracy in a safe, supportive environment. We’ll cover firearm safety, range rules, proper storage, and shooting techniques—all with hands-on instruction to help you hit your mark!
Best part? Everything’s included! That means firearm rental, ammo, targets, range fees, and protective gear—just show up and shoot! Plus, you’ll get a full hour of live-fire exercises to put your new skills into action.
No experience? No problem! Let’s have some fun and take your first shot the right way!
🎯 Already have experience or even your CWP but still not feeling 100% confident? That’s okay! Carrying comes with responsibility, and practice makes perfect. If you want to sharpen your skills, boost your confidence, or just get more comfortable handling your firearm, our Basic Pistol Class is a great option. It’s a relaxed, hands-on course designed to help you feel more prepared and in control—because confidence is key!
Tactical Pistol

The class is designed to teach the skills needed to operate your pistol proficiently, accurately and quickly. This is a draw and fire course from exposed and concealed conditions. You will get to shoot multiple targets under time pressure, and instinctively diagnose and clear handgun malfunctions. Students will leave this course with a greater level of confidence in their abilities to use their pistol in a defensive situation. Lessons will include: Emergency and Tactical Reloading, Malfunction Clearing, Recoil Management for Rapid Shooting and other Defensive Techniques.
Private Training
$90 PER HOUR
Private handgun session is a one on one training session with Robin. Private handgun lessons include goals and/or curriculum previously discussed with your firearms instructors. Private instruction is offered in increments of 1-hour. Bring along a friend or family member, up to 3 students maximum.
Host a class
Looking to sharpen your shooting skills with your favorite people? Whether you’re aiming for your Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP) or want to master the basics in our Basic Pistol class, we’ve got you covered!
• Group Special: Gather a group of 6 or more (including yourself) for either class, and as the host, your class is FREE!
• Private Classes: Want the class to be private, just for your group? Private classes are available for groups of 10 or more. That means no outsiders — just your crew.
So, rally your friends, pick a date, and let’s make some bangin’ memories together!
Try Before You Buy Class – One-on-One Exploration!
Not sure which firearm is the right fit for you? Our Try Before You Buy class offers a personalized, one-on-one experience, where you can test out up to 15 different guns of various calibers, selected by the instructor based on your experience. This is the perfect opportunity to get a feel for different firearms before making your purchase decision.
Please note, this class is ONLY available to students who have completed a previous Chicks with Triggers course to ensure you have the foundational skills needed to safely and confidently handle the firearms.
